I thought that warband tamer was obsolete with Warband 1.153. Warband engine use a max of 4GB of memory, so more memory than that doesnt change experience. #6. the velvet hammer Jun 2, 2015 @ 5:46pm. Note that this was original mount and blade, but the same relationship of optimum number of horses changes based on weight holds (though the below doesn't include the party size factor, discussed in my reply elsewhere here on this reddit thread). The non quoted part of the experiment dealing with party morale is obviously obsolete in warband

However, if you want to pass that 1000 limit and have Total War-type battles, you can increase the battle size in Bannerlord by following these steps: Go to Documents \ Mount and Blade II Bannerlord \ Configs. Open the BannerlordConfig.txt and look for Battle Size. Change the number to whatever one suits
scripts.txt (back up your file). 30 base party size. 5 additional for each leadership skill point. 25 renowns to increase party size by one. Your party size report will remain the same after you change the above numbers because the values are also in presentations.txt.
Lords pay wages to troops based on this formula: ( (Troop_level^2)+50)/30. They do not have to pay extra money for cavalry or archers. If they cannot afford their troops, their troops will either get disbanded by the lord or desert from the lord’s party. Which troops desert from a lord’s party is random.
so after 20 hours, i finally found out how to increase leadership (this might be redundant to some) you have to join a faction and use your influence to summon lords and form an army - you incrementally gain xp as time goes and the army stays together (i am not aware if the overall army size has an impact as of yet) i had 300+ units in my army
